Prehispanic hieroglyphics on the pyramid dedicated to a Agave species which produces an alkaloid rich drink "aqua miel" which later self ferments into "pulque" an alcoholic beverage (the fermentation destroys the alkaloids so drinking it straight from the plant is important for an eye opening experience... so I'm told ;)
