Inaugural Class of 2008 at Wounded Marine Careers Foundation learns Apple Professional Applications

The Final Cut Pro editing & screening room
Norman Smith, Emmy Award Winner, & I took turns teaching film editing & movie making theory in this room, which was also the hub of Apple's Final Cut Pro Studio. The Marines auditioned many hours of footage that was being shot; they would then edit, fix, create sound for effects, score music, write credits & story tell via their movies.

We watched & critiqued several pieces of Academy Award Winning films, learning the many techniques used in movie making, writing styles & ways to edit action, drama, comedy, documentaries.

The editors were sometimes known for their rowdy, nonconforming behavior at the school & for the record, I had nothing to do with this (tongue in cheek). ;)
